Take time out of your busy lifestyle to smell the roses and wines, This tour has been designed to make the most of a relaxing carriage ride through Hunter Wine Country adjacent to the beautiful Brokenback Mountain Range. Smell the fresh country air and view the magnificent Hunter Valley from your horse drawn carriage. The wineries of this area are mostly boutique and offer the novice and connoisseur alike a large range of grape varieties to sample as the vignerons of this area are keen to specialise is lesser known varieties such as Sangiovese, Nebiolo or Trebiarno.

Our journey takes us along quiet country roads and farms at a leisurely pace to five different wineries and includes tutored wine tastings with the Cellar Door staff. Wine tastings are pre arranged with the venue for your added wine pleasure. You will be treated to spectacular scenery as you spend the morning visiting two boutique wineries where you will be given tutored tastings of their wines, catching up on some of the finer points of wine appreciation. Your carriage driver and guide will highlight points of interest on your tour including some of the local wildlife.

After a refreshing lunch at your choice of venue within Pokolbin Village we leave for the next winery where once again you will be given tutored tastings of the vast ranges of locally produced wines.  Enjoy the fantastic views of the vineyard as we travel along the out skirts of the vines. We return to the Small Wine Makers Centre late afternoon.
